The Silvertones of Barbados is a high energy “Gospel Group” with incredible chemistry, sweet vocal harmonies, fantastic musical drive with a nice stage presence. Traditional gospel songs have been mixed with modern up-tempo rhythms including reggae, calypso, spouge and soca.

These popular rhythms are mainly responsible for the building of instant energy, which infects the audience, allowing them to become irresistible to the music, that they find themselves standing up, stomping their feet, dancing, clapping, rejoicing and having a good time praising God.

The group will arrive at Fort Lauderdale International Airport on Friday, July 13th and depart on Tuesday, August 7th.

• Choir consists of 18 persons.
• Available for Sunday AM & PM services, Wednesday PM services & special events any day of the week.
• Host responsible for housing for 12 women (3 rooms) and 6 men (2 rooms) – preferably hotel rooms.
• Group uses tracks from their latest CDs.

The Silvertones of Barbados has garnered themselves near sold-out events across Barbados, Bermuda, Canada, and many US cities. They have performed at some of the countries’ premier events including McDonald Gospelfest in New Jersey and the International Church of the Nazarene Conventions and General Assemblies on four occasions in San Antonio, TX, Indianapolis, IN and Orlando, FL where attendances were in excess of 65,000 people on each occasion. The group has received a growing list of awards and recognition, with the latest being the 2017 Flame Music Gospel Awards for the best chorale/choir of the year.

The group completed its 7th recording during 2016 entitled “Yes Lord, Live.” This latest album is testimony of the group’s growth and depth where it has explored the creative process with a demonstration of fresh, distinct sound, great consistency, compelling tones and overall fantastic music.

The group has shared the stage with leading local and Caribbean gospel artists such as the Grace Thrillers, the late Joseph Niles, Shine the Light, Jerry Lloyd, Nicole Ballosingh-Holder, Bridget Blucher and Promise. Internationally the group has performed with Ron Kenoly, Rise’s Joiner, Jeffrey White, Bishop Clarence E. McClendon, Kay Morris, Rachel Washington, Bobby Jones, TD Jakes, Kirk Franklin, Cissy Houston, James Fortune & FIYA, Vicky Winans, Hezekiah Walker & the LFT choir and Donnie McClurkin.
